Dear Little –
One month has passed and I can’t believe all the changes that happened this month! For starters, we both figured out the whole feeding thing, which contrary to popular belief, is much harder than one would think.
You saw you first football games with dad (his Alma Matter, Miami, won) and with mom (the Patriots won), and you slept through them both.
Additionally, you “worked” with me, strapped to my chest, working on stop jumping exercises with a very happy Labrador, slept through the Somerville Dog Festival, while I was emceeing for my students, and met a Pit Bull who was all too happy to meet you!
You met three of your four biological grandparents: Grandma, Grandpa, and Gimpy. You’ll learn more about them as time goes on.
It also might seem insignificant when you read this, but it’s important to know that you are an amazing sleeper 95% of the time, you lift your head already, and are starting to lock eyes with us. You could do none of these things 30 days ago.
You also poop like a boss. Seriously – the sheer amount of bio-hazardous waste that you produce in a “session” is amazing.
Weight: 9.7 lbs
Length: 21.5 inches . This is 1″ longer than 2 weeks ago, which your nurse had never seen before. Don’t get your hopes up – we are both statistically average for height, so the likelihood you will be any taller than 5’5 or 5’6 is incredibly slim, even though I come from a family with some freakishly tall people.
