Dear Little –
When they say “enjoy it because it goes fast” – I had NO CLUE what people meant by it. To put it in perspective:
6 months ago, you were 7 pounds, 14 ounces. That’s less than the cats weigh. You couldn’t stretch your legs, and you looked like an alien. You had one cry – 0 to 60 – that meant you needed something, but you couldn’t express it.
Today, you are holding on to my hands and we “walk”. You have a series of sounds (grunts, consonant babbling, and different cries). You roll in both directions, and though most of it ends up on your shirt, you eat peas. For breakfast. Sorry about that. You look at people from across the room, and as I type, you’re trying to eat the keyboard.
Overall, you now weigh 16 pounds 8 ounces, and are 27 inches long. You love Sadie (the dog) and the voice of President Obama puts you in a trance.
So that’s the state of how far you’ve come in a short period of time!
