Sorry in advance for the eventual braces you’ll have. Your dad had braces in High School and I’ve had braces since…..er, January. Nothing says “trying to relive your childhood” more than getting corrective braces in your thirties.
All things considered, if all you have to worry about are eventually needing glasses or getting braces at some point, you’re doing pretty well.
Plus, with braces, you can eat all the ice cream you want. *
Your dad has always had glasses. I got them the night before my driving test. One thing you need to know about glasses, whenever you get them – if you’ve never worn them before, your entire field of perception changes. Don’t do what I did, and try to test for a driver’s license the day after getting prescription glasses for the first time. I am confident the instructor just took pity, and issued me a “sympathy” license.
So yes, Little. You will need glasses, and you’ll need braces (statistically speaking). We’ll try to make sure that you aren’t getting either before an important speaking engagement, school play, or driving anything, and it’ll all pan out. I promise.
*well, there will be limits on ice cream, but you’ll get MORE than usual.
