Hi Little.
The other day, you got your first haircut. It wasn’t anything epic or even drastic. Your bangs just grew a little longer than the rest of your hair, so they were in your eyes, nose and mouth. Even you, a toddler , started to get annoyed. The final straw was when you moved your hair out of your eyes and snot covered the lower 1/3 of your bangs. This would have been fine except that you smooshed the boogers into the rest of your longish strawberry blonde locks in an attempt to push your hair out of your face.
Ew.
Two quick cuts of the scissors later and you officially have bangs. It wasn’t what I was planning for you, but I will admit that it’s a lot easier, and you do look super cute.
It got me to thinking about the life-long relationship with hair that you will undoubtedly have going forward and I wanted to impart a little advice.
1. You will at some point want to cut your own hair. You might be 4, 14, 24 or 34. Don’t do it. Please, just don’t. Trust me. Continue reading
